Falco is an employee-owned UK specialist contractor working in high-risk utility and infrastructure environments, where every client contract depends on demonstrating a competent, ready workforce.
Falco's workforce operates as gangs: two- and three-person teams, geographically dispersed across the network. Cascading information to them was the structural challenge. A toolbox talk that reaches the depot doesn't reach a gang in the field, and when something goes wrong, the lesson needs to reach every team fast, not at the next monthly briefing.
Falco uses LUMA1 for the two things that matter most to a dispersed workforce: regular toolbox talks, and learning from incidents. When something happens, the lesson is turned into content and pushed to every gang in the field within days, with comprehension checked rather than assumed. Communication stopped depending on where a team happened to be standing.
Falco releases new content roughly every two weeks, and each release typically reaches 500 views across the field within its first week. That speed and consistency of cascade, with demonstrable proof of understanding behind it, was a differentiator the client was impressed by. It directly supported Falco in securing the biggest contract in its history.
"LUMA1 enables us to communicate quickly and effectively with our geographically dispersed workforce, providing confidence that critical safety messages are not only received but clearly understood, in a fully auditable manner. This consistency and demonstrable proof of understanding were significant differentiators that directly supported us in securing the most significant contract in Falco's history."
LUMA1 content is distributed through Falco's own internal portal, so workers access everything inside the application they already know. The system disappears into Falco's environment; the evidence does not.
