Deltera Construction Management

Deltera, part of the Tridel Group of Companies, manages complex high-rise construction across the Greater Toronto Area, with multiple major projects running simultaneously and contractors moving constantly between them.

Readiness lived in spreadsheets, sign-off sheets and site-level binders. It worked, until it didn't. There was no central way to confirm a contractor moving between sites was current, certifications sat in binders that didn't talk to each other, and every new site meant rebuilding onboarding from scratch. With a workforce speaking English, French, Spanish, Mandarin and Portuguese, a signature proved attendance, not understanding. And when scrutiny came, assembling a defensible record meant digging through paper.

Deltera deployed LUMA1 across all nine active Toronto sites. Contractors self-register on their own devices before they arrive, killing the day-one bottleneck at the site trailer. Orientations run in five languages, tailored to each site's specific hazards and access protocols, with comprehension checked rather than assumed. Project managers see one dashboard: who is certified for which site, whose certifications are expiring, where the gaps are.

Safety orientation went from a good-faith exercise to an enforceable prerequisite: no completed certification, no site access. Rolling out a new site became a repeatable process instead of a ground-up rebuild. And having proven the model on orientations, Deltera is expanding LUMA1 into additional certification and training programmes across every site and role.
